The Hampton Honey's are DIVISION WINNERS!!!! We were in last place last season and ended up first this season!! I cannot wait until mixed doubles in a few weeks!

We have had some beautiful weather the last few weeks! So we went to the Atlanta zoo with some of our friends and their two young children!

Ireland had her birthday party at a place called Recess by Charley! It is a very upscale hourly daycare that is near my parents house. We drop the kids off about twice a month on Saturday nights so Kevin and I can have date night! The kids LOVE IT! They have all the toys we will never have in our house!

Ireland loves CAKE! I am sure she did not get that from her mother!!!

She was a little nervous about everyone singing to her and her being the center of attention!

The day before Easter our Subdivision had a huge easter egg hunt! I think Patrick liked it even more than Ireland did! They really enjoy spending time together!

We had 2 birthday parties to go to today. We were running around trying to get everyone ready and Ireland came out dressed in one of Kevin's button up shirts. Then she had to try out her "mean look" also:)

I love this picture because it shows how happy she is most of the time!

This is before we left for the parties! We actually got them to cooperate with us!

1st party was at Build A Bear for Mackenzie! Mackenzie turned 7 and I work with her mom and we are very close so they were sweet and invited Ireland and Patrick to join in the fun!

Ireland had a great time she was just getting a little tired and a little overwhelmed by all the older kids!

2nd birthday party of the day! This was for Griffin he was turning 3 and had his at the YMCA! We had a big blow up thing with slides, we had soccer, we had hoop loops as Ireland calls them, food, cake and ice cream!! We also had a grumpy little girl by this time. 2nd day in a row without a nap she ALWAYS gets a nap. Surprisingly, Patrick was great!

All the other kids were playing together playing soccer etc...and Ireland was putting cones in order because she hates when things are not lined up properly or if they are dirty!

Is he not adorable??? I love my little man to pieces!!!

For my family you know when I was little I carried Sunshine around with me everywhere!!! Well mom fixed him for the most part and gave him back to me for my children. Ireland has now dressed him in clothes Patrick cannot fit into anymore and I wanted to share them because they make me happy!

Several nights ago Kevin was working and I was at home with the kids. Ireland sleeps with 11 animals, dolls etc.. at night and she decided that she was going to put them all in her wagon. Yes the wagon was inside because it has been COLD here in GA! (yes I know some of you are saying that is not cold but for those of us in the South it was cold) and we have run out of things for her to do inside so in came the wagon:) Here are a couple photos of her and the wagon. The cutest part was after she carefully put all the dolls and stuff in she realized their was no room for her. She was very sad then decided she would just sit on one:)

Christmas Eve! We went over to my parents house for Christmas Eve. Here are a few photos!

While Ireland was potty training mom always had M & M's for her at her house so that she would get a treat if she went potty. Well once my dad found that out he kept eating all of the M & M's and then Ireland would not have any. This became funny to her and the other day when she woke up from her nap she came and sat on my lap and said Mommy we forgot to buy Pop Pop M & M's so we went and bought him a big bag so that he would stop eating Irelands:) So here is a cute picture!

Ireland thinks her T.J. is pretty cool. T.J. is thinking she is more fun now that she does not cry all the time! It is fun to watch them together. And no dad she did not get pulling up her shirt from her mother. She got it from her Aunt Bessie:)

Catch Air!

Kevin has been taking the kids to a place called Catch Air the last couple of weeks and I finally got to go with them. This is a huge indoor play area with lots of blown up slides and jump areas. Both kids love it!! So do we! We took Alex with us and we all had a blast. We went down the huge slides (including Patrick) we jumped on the big air areas and Ireland got a work out as you will see below:)

I took a huge holly tree out of the yard a few months ago, mainly because Ireland kept running into it on the way into and out of the house, and it did not feel very friendly. So three weeks ago Ireland, Patrick and I took a trip to the nursery to find something to take it's place. We ended up with a Carolina Jasmine, with the intention that it will take over and grow up and around the column at the front of the house. Well, it has really taken off in the three weeks it has been in the ground, surely because of Ireland's constant desire to water it. She also goes to the window every morning and tells me that the plant has grown. It's our little project.

Hey Everyone, we know it has been a long time since the last update, and we have been very busy! Abby has been traveling for work quite a bit, and I have been getting the kids settled into being at home with me all day. Ireland started preschool at the church two days a week, and Patrick is trying to move as fast as he can, I think the only time he cries is when he is trying to get to something and he can't get there fast enough. Everything is going well, and we have done a lot of fun things, so enjoy the pictures and we will be updating more often!!

I know we are bad about updating the blog. We do our best it is just a lot of work and we are busy. We just got back from a great family reunion and I will update those photos in the next few days. For now enjoy some random pictures we have taken this month! Ireland and Patrick are doing great! They are both growing up so fast my maternity leave has just flown by. I go back in 3 1/2 weeks.

Last night out was Girls night out! We went to Cinco's in Vickery Village and had a great time! I had some friends who knew I could use a relaxing night out! I also got to meet some new friends. We spent several hours sitting around eating and talking and then a few of us when up to the roof top lounge. I know some of you are thinking I cannot believe she left the kids! I did though and am very proud of myself. It gave Kevin a chance to hang out with both of them. I was also only gone about 5 hours which was just the perfect break I needed. I go back to work in a little over 3 weeks and am getting a little sad. I love my two angels but everyone needs a break sometimes!

We took this photo today. I had just bought this cute bucket to put on our porch and I walked out onto the porch and Ireland had put it on the ground and was sitting in it! She is so cute!

This was also from today. Ireland was not wearing clothes because she had just ate french toast and was a mess. She was "dancing" with Patrick. Everytime Kevin and I would pick him up today she wanted to dance with him. The 2nd photo cracks me up because he does not look very thrilled!

I had to take this photo. Ireland is such a little mother. She went and sat where I always nurse Patrick and put the pillow around her and wanted to feed him.

Here are several pictures we took one rainy Sunday morning. Ireland and Patrick were having fun in our bed that morning. Ireland always wants to be right on top of Patrick. He is doing so well you can see how well he can hold up his head in this picture. He just rolled over on Monday and he is only 11 weeks old:)

We spend 1 or 2 Sundays a month at my parents house. It is nice to have most of our family near by! It is always very relaxing and gives us a chance to catch up with our niece and nephew and my sisters. Here Sara Beth is trying to teach Ireland to "walk it out" You can see she thinks Aunt "Bessie" is nuts:)

Busy, busy, busy

Wow what a busy month! Two kids keep us very busy.. Here is a quick update. Ireland had her ear tube surgery on Monday. She did great:) She was not scared at all! Then Ireland had her 2 year check up yesterday and Patrick had his one month check up. They both did great. The doctor was very impressed with the fact that Ireland is potty trained during the day and that she talked so well:) She even had her finger pricked and did not make a sound she just wanted to know what kind of band-aid she would get. Potty training is going well. She has had very few accidents and it is so much easier not doing diapers for two. I ended up with strep and a sinus infection this week, luckily I have not passed it on to the rest of the family! Patrick has had a rough week. We knew he had reflux but the medicine he was on stopped working and he was crying all day long. They finally have him on a new very expensive new medicine that seems to be working so far. I will keep you updated.

Last Friday Ireland, Patrick and I went to my parents house for the afternoon. Ireland "helped" Grammy and Pop Pop plant some new flowers. I think she made more of a mess but who cares. She was so excited when she got to water them all.

Patrick was also very excited and passed out on the blanket out in the yard. To be that relaxed must be nice...

Potty training...Kevin put her up to this:)

I was changing Patricks diaper and left the room for a minute when I came back he was sound asleep and I had to take a picture.

Ireland has started wearing dresses since she started potty training.. I love this girl so much I cannot put it in to words:)

We had Irelands family birthday party on Sunday the 20th. Is she not so cute? The weather was very cold but we still had a great time.

Unfortunatly, she was also very sick. She had woke up from her nap before her party with a fever of 101. About half way through the party she want down hill very quickly. We had to take her to the emergency care center and by the time we got there her fever was 103. While they were running a strep test they gave her a popsicle. I had to take a photo because she was so pathetic. They told us it was just a virus and to go home and get her to bed. However, at about midnight her fever spiked to 105 so we spent the evening on the floor in her room calling the nurse line and talking to the pediatrician to see if she needed to go to the emergency room. It was extremely scary and I hope it never gets that high again. She was not moving or talking she would just lay there and look at us. About 24 hours later she was good as new again:)

Happy 2nd birthday Ireland!! The night of Irelands birthday we took her to Chuck E. Cheese for the first time. She loved it:) She and Kevin played all kind of games while I watched Patrick.

This was so funny. She was on this huge truck and when it started leaning sideways she had the funniest look on her face. She could not decide if she thought it was funny or if she should be scared.

As you can tell all the blinking lights, loud noices, and crazy children were really disturbing Patricks nap:)

Ireland loves loves loves Patrick. We have to make sure we keep her from smothering him. She loves to hug and kiss him all the time. First thing in the morning after she asks for Sweet tea she wants her Patrick.

Ireland had her birthday party at school. She brought in the cutest Curious George gift bags with a coloring book, markers, stickers and a Curious George mask for each child. I brought cup cakes (without frosting per the teachers request) Ireland wanted chocolate since she is like her mother and addicted to it. She had a great time except she seemed confused when everyone sang to her.

We are so happy to be home from the hospital. We are having so much fun getting to know Patrick. He is very laid back. He has been a great sleeper so far. I have to wake him up at least once a night to eat since I am nursing and cannot go all night without him eating! I took him for his one week appt on Monday. The doctor said he was perfect. He is in the 96% for his age in height but only the 24% for his head. Poor boy.. I am sure it will get bigger:) I still have to call several of you back..please be patient with me:) I will do it soon!

These are pictures from Patricks first sponge bath. He cannot have a real bath until his belly button heals. The bath mat is like a lounge chair he seems to love the water just like Ireland does.

Patrick Daniel Collins arrived March 31 at 6:56AM. He was a healthy 8lbs 8oz and 22 and 1/4 inches long! No wonder Abby was uncomfortable! Everything went very well and Patrick and his Mom are doing great. Ireland loves her little brother and enjoys holding him and kissing him. Check out these pictures and we will have more to come soon!

Happy Easter and ENT update!!

Ok so we went to the Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor today for Ireland. He decided she needs tubes:) That is what we had been waiting to hear. Hopefully we will know in the next week when they will do the surgery! This is great news. I am so glad we changed pediatricians again. I think Kevin and I knew all along that we were not happy with the old one. Oh well, hopefully this will mean she will not be sick all the time:)

This picture shows Irelands haircut. My mom came over last night because I was not feeling well and Kevin had call night. I needed someone to help me keep up with Ireland:) So mom came over and cooked dinner and cut Irelands hair for me. Isnt it cute? At least she can see now:)

After Easter dinner we went up to the park to play! the girls played on the playground while the men went and played basketball! They sure smelled when they got back home:)

I love this picture. Ireland had played hard all day and since daddy was still playing basketball she decided it was time to lay on grandmoms couch and drink her milk. Then she had to play with Alex some more:)

These next two photos show Ireland with her Easter present from Aunt RaRa, Uncle Tim, T.J., and Alex. It is the biggest bunny ever. Ireland tries dragging it all over the house but it is about twice her size.

It was Easter but we were also celebrating T.J.s 13th birthday! Can you believe he is that old??? Plus he is taller than me which I really do not think is fair. This is him getting ready to blow out his candles!

He is such a cute young man! He looks a lot older than 13 though:)

Here is Ireland dying easter eggs and then trying to decorate them! you can also see her big girl panties on in the first photo. This potty training thing is harder than I thought. We are not pushing her to hard since the baby arrives next week. She goes through phases. Sometimes she wants to use the potty all the time and other times she wants absolutly nothing to do with it. You can see she really enjoyed decorating the eggs although more got on her than the eggs:)

I had to put these on the blog! Ireland loves ice cream. We went to Brusters on Saturday and it was to cold to eat outside so we ate in my car. They give the little kids baby ice cream cones and Ireland holds it and we put one bite of ice cream in it and let her eat it and then she will say "more, more" and we will give her some more.

On Friday Irelands class had an easter egg hunt. Irelands teacher Ms. Angela asked if I would come and help! Of course I said yes. The only other thing I am doing is waiting for this dang baby to show up:) What she did not tell me was that their were over 240 eggs to hide for 22 kids! Are you kidding me? There is not that many places to hide eggs I ended up just dropping some of them on the ground. The kids are only 2 they did not really know what was going on anyways! You can see all the proud parents taking pictures:)

Kevin suprised Ireland and showed up in time for the hunt. She has a short attention span so he had to keep reminding her what she was supposed to be doing. She loves her daddy so much. Every afternoon when I pick her up we spend 10 minutes talking about where her daddy is. I could say at work 20 times and she will still say Daddy? home?

So the countdown begins! We have a scheduled c-section planned for March 31st. Kevin and I have to be at the hospital at 5 a.m. and we were told the surgery would happen at 6:45 and then we will know if Ireland will have a baby brother or baby sister. She is a little confused since we brought out all the baby stuff. I have loved getting to spend extra time with her since the doctor took me out of work. She is only going part days to day care and then I pick her up early and as she says we "shopping and play" together. I love every minute I get to spend with her.

It was beautiful outside on Sunday and Ireland loves it outside!!! So as you can see we spent the whole day outside on our screened in porch and out back. Then we went to watch T.J. play baseball and then went out to dinner with them. As you can see Ireland makes Alex play ring around the rosies over and over again.

As many of you know we had awful storms in Atlanta this weekend. We do not have a basement so when the storms got so nasty on Saturday my parents invited us over so we could be in a basement. I loved the photos below of Bailey. She is so good with Ireland as you can see from the beads that she lets Ireland put all over her.

Here are some of my favorite pictures of Kevin and Ireland together. We were invited over to Jason and Heathers to watch the Duke vs. North Carolina game. Jason is a huge Duke fan and Kevin is a huge NC fan so he and Ireland had to get all decked out in everything NC. Ireland even had socks on for NC. We had a great time thanks for having us over:)

Here are a couple of family photos. For my family this was taken several weeks ago but still shows that I am the largest pregnant women ever!! Good thing you reconsidered your weight estimates for the new baby!!

Here are a couple additional swim lesson photos. Unfortuntatly, Ireland has had so many ear infections that she was unable to go to her last three classes. We are scheduled to meet with a ear, nose and throat doctor next Wednesday to discuss getting tubes put in. I will keep you updated.

Swim Lessons

Ireland started swim lessons at the YMCA on Saturday. Kevin is doing the class with her. He was worried about being the only dad but it turned out that it was all dads:) All the moms stood on the side taking pictures. Ireland loves the water and loved being at class. You can see from the pictures below that I think the dads were having as much fun as the kids were. Ireland did not want to get out when it was over. She keeps grabbing her swim diapers and saying "water, water" we have to keep telling her that she has to wait until Saturday to go again.

A weekend away:)))) Kevin and I needed a weekend away before the baby comes so Kevins parents offered to come and watch Ireland for us. We snuck away to Helen, GA for the weekend. We left around lunch on Friday, February 1st and drove the hour up to Helen. It was such a relaxing weekend. I had found a great bed and breakfast for us to stay at. The waterfall is at the house where we stayed. We played putt-putt golf, ate great food, and Kevin had all the German beer he wanted since the town is almost all German.

Kevin and I cracked up at our room. It was so nice and elegant with the fireplace and antiques. Then you walked in the bathroom and it had a bright red heart shaped bathtub:)

Here are a couple cute photos of Ireland. She starting wanting to use the potty about 6 weeks ago. For about 3 weeks she was using it almost constantly. We were so excited and hoping she would be out of diapers before the next baby arrives. No such luck the last few weeks she has not used it nearly as much. She likes to sit on it and talks about everything you should do on it she is just not using it as much. She has started using the potty at school though and they are really excited for her.

Ireland got her first snow experience today, and she had a blast! We played in the yard and out on the golf course, and even built a tiny snowman! Ireland was celebrating the UNC basketball victory over GA Tech last night that Daddy got to see and arrived home from at 1AM! Enjoy all of the pictures, it was lots of fun!

In other news, everyone can mark their calendars for March 31st as the day baby #2 will arrive. We will be checking into the hospital at 5AM, and the baby should be here around 6AM!!! We are very excited!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! Sorry it has been so long! Ireland had a wonderful 2nd Christmas. She is growing up so fast it makes me sad:) She is talking like crazy and Kevin and I really enjoyed being off for a few days to spend extra time with her. It was hard to go back work.

These first few photos are from Christmas Eve. We spent the evening with my family! I do not have any pictures but Ireland was very blessed to get to spend her 2nd Christmas with her Mimi and Popi (my grandparents) As you can see she loves her cousin Alex and is never far from her side.

Ireland has so many new toys and clothes it is crazy! She got a kitchen and her Aunt RaRa and Uncle Tim bought her toys to go in it. So now we have 39 kitchen pieces thrown all over the house. Ireland has not caught on to the fact that the toys are supposed to stay in the kitchen.

Christmas Morning!!! Ireland slept in until 9 am that morning. She never sleeps that late. Kevins parents and Aunt stayed with us and we enjoyed Christmas morning with them. We put Ireland in her cute Christmas nightgown and let her go to town on her presents. She had so many she only opened a few of them in the morning and we did more later in the day and the next day. You can see her new kitchen and we got her a baby doll and stroller in anticipation of the new baby. She is still not real sure of the baby doll. Hopefully she will be ready in 13 weeks when the baby is due.

She is such a good baby. We absolutly love spending time with her! We cannot wait for our new addition to our family. I am currently 27 weeks along so we only have about 3 months to go.

Is she not the cutest supergirl ever?? She is such a happy baby!

I volunteered at the daycare yesterday because they were having their big halloween parade and party. They had 125 kids dressed up and walking around. These pictures do not do justice to the chaos that was happening at the school. Ireland was in shock watching all the kids.

Ireland has 9 kids in her part of the class. I love how when the food comes out they are all on their best behavior:))

After school we stopped by Aunt Alesha and Uncle Tims house. Ireland loves her cousin Alex who was the cutest girl football player ever. Ireland is lucky to have such a cool cousin! ( Sorry TJ you were not there)

I had my check up today with the vascular surgeon. They think they can go in and tie off the vein that is causing me so much pain. It will be an in office procedure and hopefully it will be done in the next 2 weeks. She can only do half the procedure until I have the baby and then she will finish it. It will offer me some relief though.

I have had a tough week. Yesterday I found out I had a sinus infection then this morning at work I fell up the stairs. (yes up the stairs) and ended up with a small hairline fracture in my left wrist. I am wearing a brace and have to go back Monday for more x-rays. Kevin leaves to go out of town Sunday and since I cannot lift Ireland the two of us will be having a week long sleep over with my parents so they can help me with her.

Ireland 18 month update

Well Ireland had her 18 month check up today! She was actually 18 months a couple of weeks ago but we just got her in today:) She is so big! She weighs 26 pounds and 11 ounces which put her in the 90th percentile, she was in the 90th percentile for her height and the 80th percentile for her head! She loves to eat! She had to get 2 shots and did great. Although as she gets older she is crying louder and it took her a little longer to stop. Once they gave her a sticker and a toy though she was great.

I am currently 16 1/2 weeks pregnant. I am having a lot of trouble with my legs. It was so bad this morning I had to go into the doctor. I am having vericose veins that are causing me lots of issues in my right leg. It makes walking very hard to do. The ob is sending me to a vascular surgeon on Thursday just to make sure my blood circulation is ok so that no harm comes to the baby. For now I get to wear really ugly medical pantyhose and I have to take an asprin once a day to thin out my blood. I will update the page Thursday after my appointment and with Halloween pictures of our beautiful baby!

Mom and Dad took me to Burt's Farm last weekend. There were so many big pumpkins, and I got to eat pumpkin pie and drink apple cider. We came home with two big pumpkins and lots of little tiny pumpkins!!

She is the cutest, sweetest baby ever!

We received flowers from Grandma and Grandpa Collins to celebrate us expanding our little family! Ireland also received a card with $5 in it so that we would go buy her a milk shake (her favorite)! The card cracked Ireland up because everytime she opened it the card would starting yelling at her Hello, Hi, Hello, Hello, Hi! For about 15 or 20 seconds and she cracks up. These pictures are of her holding the card and sitting next to the beautiful flowers!

Ireland had a great week at daycare. She did not have any breakdowns as I dropped her off so that was nice. I think she is getting used to her new teachers. I do love picking her up she runs right over for a hug and then gives me a big kiss:) I hate being away from her all day. It is nice to know she is so well taken care of though. Kevin or I often call to check on her once a day. The teachers never seem to mind and give us a little piece of mind during the day:)

I had my 11 1/2 week appt. on Tuesday. The doctors have moved to a huge new office. It was so nice. I love this new doctor. I only had to wait 3 minutes to get in! That is such an improvement over my last doctor. I often had to wait an hour plus to get in. I was able to hear the heartbeat! Then because I am so much more emotional this time than last I started crying. I think the doctor was caught a little off guard. The doctor checked me out and said everything looks great. I go back in 4 weeks! I will let you know how it goes:)

Last Saturday night we were invited across the street to watch some College Football! It was cooler outside so I got to pull out a new fall outfit I had bought for Ireland. These pictures do not do the outfit justice! Ireland was tired from a day of shopping with Mommy and Grandma. So she was being a little picture shy:) The top had 2 little bottons on the back up top and the rest was open. She was the highlight of the party. Their were several other kids attending also so she had a blast!

Well as you can see from Irelands shirt she is going to be a big sister. I am currently 10 weeks pregnant and due the beginning of April. We will have 2 April babies:) The blog will be changing to a family blog instead of just Irelands blog. I will keep you updated with my pregnancy as it goes along. Unfortunatly, This pregnancy has been much harder than when I was pregnant with Ireland. I have been sick since the day I found out we were expecting. I have had to miss some work and the doctor finally had to give me some medicine for the nausea. The medicine has made it possible for me to work since I no longer have to run for the restroom every few minutes. Over the last week I have finally been able to keep some food down:)

For those of you wondering, no we will not find out the sex this time either. You will be surprised just like us in April!

We went up to the Winery where Mommy and Daddy got married for lunch yesterday. We sat outside and had a wonderful time!

I am 1 today, and I had so much fun! I went to school this morning and Mommy left work early and brought cupcakes for me and all of my friends to eat. I started going to school this week. It is pretty fun...I like playing with the toys, and I get to eat some great food! Well, I have had a cold since last Friday, and I have not gotten a good nights sleep since then. The usual stuff, coughing, runny nose. I was not feeling any better today, so Mommy and Daddy left work to take me to the Dr. The Dr told us that I have my first ear infection, and I have a virus called RSV. Sooooo, I am taking amoxicillin for the ear, and we are doing breathing treatments every 4 hours! Can you believe that? Mommy and Daddy are putting me in my car seat to keep me from running away, and they hook me up to this little machine. The only good thing is I have this really cool dinosaur on my mask! Hopefully all of this will be over soon!
